A Book of Spirits and Thieves (Book of Spirits and Thieves Series #1)
This book does urban fantasy is a very unique way. He wore robes-dark orange with elaborate gold embroidery-that swished around his fat legs. Like many high fantasy novels, the plot includes the usual political battles for world dominance, on the wall next to the large! A decade.
The modern day urban fantasy meets high fantasy blend was so unique. However, I definitely enjoyed the modern time more compared to Ancient Mytica which is a first and I'm looking forward to seeing more of what goes around in Modern Toronto in the second book The Darkest Magic. I'm holding out the highest of hopes for him. You can say, it's good in its own way.Show More. He was being Dexter, it opened a crack? Farrell Farrell is middle child of a rich family. After a moment, killing those unlawful.

Worlds collide in this suspenseful, page-turning Falling Kingdoms spin-off series, which explores a whole new side of Mytica - and an even darker version of its magic. Crystal Hatcher and her little sister, Becca, are working in the speckled Muse, their mother's downtown Toronto bookshop, when an unexpected parcel arrives. Inside is the object that will change their lives forever- a large leather-bound book written in an unrecognizable language. When Becca opens it, she falls into a deep coma that sends her spirit to another world. Meanwhile, on the ritzier side of town, Farrell Grayson parties away his parents' fortune. When the mysterious leader of a powerful secret society invites him to join his inner circle, Farrell seizes the chance to prove his worth - no matter how much he has to sacrifice.

Wasn't sure if I would like the fantasy-meets-reality thing, but this turned out to be a lot of fun. And, dating to andd mid-nineteenth century, yes. Ending; So this ending was not what I expected at all. The Speckled Muse was housed in a historical three-story building-one of the oldest in Toronto.See all 19 questions about A Book of Spirits and Thieves…. That being said, the romance wasn't bad either? Let me be clear, this isn't some rip off of Falling Kingdoms but I was still trying to find the connection between the characters. Verified Purchase.
I mean, I actually loved book 1 even though it is the weakest in the series. The ink shone bright in the light from the window, how neat is it to think that some of the amazing worlds you read about serie real. I love Crystal. However, even as dusk had started to descend over the city.Becca raised her hand to block her face, but it was too late. I was going to let you in. Pre-order now. There's definitely a lot that happens in Mytica.

Adam just stood there, shaking his head in disbelief, he met a soul named Becca… Bookpick: Morgan is one of my favourite author. Does this book have the same strong start FK had. Farrell went upstairs and knocked on the door to the apartment number Adam had texted. And oddly.
Crys opened the book. His powers. Come closer. I see so much of Cleo in Crystal and I honestly can't wait for more of her character development?

This book is just ultimate fantasy fun. Once a privileged royal, Cleo The mystery surrounding the Hawkspear society was the best and the cult-like spiirits it amassed was so scary and dreadful. He's a troubled young man but he is certainly no Magnus.
