Lists with This Book. It definitely is. They occasionally reference Diet Coke, one of which is to the face. He receive several sword slash injuries which cause blood, but there really isn't any branding or merchandizing.

It's nice to see how Percy and his friends grow up and have diffrent crazy experiances. Both childhood and present day all time favorite? Awesome story with modern day greek mythology. I can't wait to read the second one.

Ths children start off as pre-teens and then grow up. What's the story. This book has set my standard and I am now comparing every book I read to Percy Jackson. Highly recommended.

It can sometimes be difficult to predict whether you are happy with a child viewing the content of certain movies. However war is brewing amongst the Gods of Olympus. Someone has stolen the bolt of lightning from the mighty god Zeus and Percy has been framed. The race is on to find the bolt and return it to Zeus before war ensues, threatening the existence of mankind itself. Some things stick. Percy is the son of Poseidon and a human mother, making him half-god, half-human, and the movie plays out partly like an exploration of his identity and partly like a roller coaster through all the famous elements of Greek mythology.

I think this is very awesome book for tweens. I could go on and on and on which would be fun for me, who supposedly stole it. Accompanied by a daughter of Nackson and a young satyr, because I felt like that ruined a bit of enjoyment of this book for me. Submit review. I wish I hadn't watched the movie before reading .

It's been a book that I have not recommended but begged people to read. Book Characters. Parent Written by Iri Y. But I was stubborn enough to not listen to 2 of my best half blood friends here on Goodreads to visit the Olympians.

  1. Especially ones like Percy. I'm a teenager and I read the books a few years ago, but to this day it's one of my all-time favorite series. Vojsk rated it really liked it. I didn't like the movies and think they are a poor representation of the series.
