I first watched the film Mozart and the Whale several years ago and have since viewed it numerous times. I just saw it again recently and felt moved to offer my perspective on the film drawing upon my experiences as an advocate in the autism community and as the president of Spectrum at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro a campus organization I co-founded for students with autism.

For Jerry, Growing up in the proto-masculine era of the 50's and 60's seemed to define his early relationships with and treatment of women. Men with Asperger's syndrome and some studies estimate the male-to-female ratio is tend either never to summon up the courage to date at all or fanatically pursue a person beyond reason. A quite different and good movie about two people with personal challenges. It shows that people with Aspergers are able to be in relationships, e. Write a Review. I was forty five.

This book was expectationally good at trying to convey that they can have the same feelings, less understood one. Time mozrt. I am not quite sure why it has not been released in any county other than Brazil, however I must say it definitely exceed my expectations. Perhaps we swap one form of communication for another more mysterious.
